WASHINGTON, DC-Tim Hague has been named vice chairman of Colliers International's eastern region. He is reporting directly to Eastern Region president Joe Harbert, but will remain active with Washington, DC-based businesses engaged in larger regional transactions.
As vice chairman, Hague has been tasked with overseeing the growth of Colliers' eastern region. He expects it will add 50 or so brokers over the next three years, Hague tells GlobeSt.com.
Colliers also plans to expand the division's outreach to private equity as well--another initiative that Hague will oversee. For example, "we'll work closely with private equity funds to reduce costs for them" as they take longer than expected to exit their investments, Hague says. In the bigger picture, he adds, "my top mission is to help Joe grow the region."
Hague joined Colliers International in 2010, opening the Washington, DC office and then growing the operations in Maryland and Virginia. Prior to joining Colliers International, Hague was president of GVA Advantis. He also was SVP and market leader for Equis Corp. and VP for The Charles E. Smith Cos.
