WASHINGTON, DC-Piedmont Office Realty Trust closed yesterday on the $175.6-million purchase of 901 N. Glebe Road office building in Ballston.
The sales price calculated out to $526 per square foot for the 12-story, 323,077-square-foot office building known locally as Arlington Gateway, according to the Washington Business Journal.
The Atlanta-based company bought the office property from an affiliate of Dweck Properties Ltd. Transwestern Commercial Services' Gerry Trainor brokered the sale. The property, put on the market for sale two months ago, attracted approximately 20 offers because of its 99% occupancy rate and Class-A building amenities, Trainor says.
