RIDGEWOOD, NJ-Valley Hospital officials are expected to be before the Ridgewood Planning Commission on Monday to map out the hospital's latest expansion plan.

Valley Hospital will be seeking approval of its plan that would expand the hospital's footprint from 570,000 square feet, to 910,000 square feet, excluding parking, according to The Record.

The latest proposal to modernize the 451-bed hospital revises its previous plan, which was called “Renewal.” The $750-million plan was rejected by the Village Council in 2011 and was characterized as an “aggressive overexpansion.” See story in The Record.
