WEST PALM BEACH, FL-The Cleveland Clinic Florida is reportedly looking to perhaps double its downtown presence here.

The health care firm is cramped at its CityPlace Tower where it currently occupies 30,000 square feet, according to the Palm Beach Post.

Sources tell the newspaper that Cleveland Clinic requires 60,000 square feet or more for out-patient procedures, diagnostic and medical office space. West Palm Beach spokesman Elliot Cohen says Cleveland Clinic has approached the city about moving to the vacant “tent” site, the former Palm Beach International Pavilion, which is now owned by the city. A Cleveland Clinic spokesman denies the firm is in talks to acquire the property. See story in the Palm Beach Post.
