TYSONS CORNER, VA-Bart Drummond has joined Cushman & Wakefield as executive director and member of the Tenant Advisory Group. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Drummond was a managing director at Jones Lang LaSalle.
He has worked over the years with such companies as Catalyst Health Solutions, Verisign, VMware, Inc., United Health Group, KPMG, The Washington Post, MicroTech, Morgan and Lewis & Block, LLP, GlaxoSmithKline, and Microlink.
One opportunity he expects to target is the current trend among tenants to rightsize their space, he tells GlobeSt.com. "A lot of tenants are looking for ways to reduce costs and downsize and there are good opportunities for a nimble firm like us to come in and overlay workplace solutions for clients. The market is changing and clients are looking for ways to reduce their cost exposure."
Drummond says C&W's tenant platform will be key to that. "It is able to handle everything from multinationala to mid cap to small start ups," he says.
