ATLANTIC CITY, NJ-While the house always wins, its cut needs some improvement. Revenue from the 12 Atlantic City casinos was down 12.5% in February as compared to a year earlier.

The latest gaming results from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement showed that nine casinos reported revenue declines, including the boardwalk's top producer the Borgata, which generated $46.6 million last month, down 7.5% from February 2012's total.

Two casinos were in the black in February, the Atlantic Club, which saw a 22.7% increase at $10.2 million, and the Tropicana, which posted a 12.5% rise in gaming receipts at $16.3 million. See story in The Inquirer.
