MIAMI—Despite the uptick in leasing, the competition for quality tenants is still hot and heavy in the Brickell Financial District. But Brickell Bay keeps attracting its fair share of leases.
Brickell Bay Office Tower, a 32-story, class A office tower located directly on Biscayne Bay, just inked a deal with Miami-based international law firm Astigarraga Davis. The firm will occupy about 16,000 square feet of space at the 280,500 square foot office tower. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Astigarraga Davis is relocating from nearby 701 Brickell Avenue, continuing a steady string of activity that has seen existing Brickell tenants upgrade to space at Brickell Bay Office Tower. The building is also home to AON, one of the world's leading provider of risk management and insurance services as well as the British Consulate, NEC Corporation, and financial services provider Domus Prime Services.
“Astigarraga Davis was drawn to the tower's setting in the heart of the Brickell Financial District, its efficient space with unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay, and its roster of companies from around the world,” says Brent Palmer who has recently represented three substantial tenants in relocations to Brickell Bay Office Tower. “Moreover, the building's dedicated ownership is continually making improvements, demonstrating a commitment to the asset and meeting tenant needs.”
Astigarraga Davis is a Miami-based international law firm focused on litigation, commercial arbitration, bankruptcy, and fraud and asset recovery emanating from virtually every country in the Americas. Astigarraga Davis evaluated potential relocation opportunities at other Class A buildings throughout the Brickell area before settling on Brickell Bay.
“A top-tier international law firm like Astigarraga Davis is a natural addition to Brickell Bay Office Tower's growing tenant base, which is becoming increasingly global as companies from around the world look to establish a U.S. presence in South Florida,” said Brickell Bay Office Tower vice president of leasing Christian Driussi. Driussi represented the building's ownership in the transaction.
