TAMPA-The developer of the Skypoint and Element towers in downtown Tampa has proposed a new apartment high-rise here called Skyhouse Channelside.
Atlanta-based Novare Group has filed plans with the city of Tampa for the 23-story tower that will feature 320 apartment units with ground-floor retail and a parking deck with 450 spaces. The development, if approved, would be built near the corner of 11th and Whiting streets.
The project is among a host of rental apartment projects in the pipeline that could add more than 2,100 units to the city's inventory in the next few years. See story in The Tampa Tribune.
