RIDGEWOOD, NJ-Valley Hospital officials presented the hospital's “smaller” expansion plan to the Ridgewood Planning Board on Monday.
Jonathan Drill, an attorney representing Valley Hospital, said the proposed 910,000 square feet of floor space at the new hospital is a 21% decrease from the 1.17 million square feet in the previous $750-million plan.
“The hospital has listened to what the Village Council has said and has also listened to the expressions of the neighboring objectors, and now comes before the board with a modified plan,” Drill says
Nearly 100 residents and hospital officials attended what was the first of several scheduled sessions on proposed changes to the master plan to allow the hospital to expand on its 15-acre campus. See story in The Record..
