AUGUSTA, GA-The Partridge Inn, an historic venue here that predates the Civil War, is on the market and slated for sale via an online auction scheduled for April 15-17.
The 144-room hotel at 2110 Walton Way, which went through foreclosure proceedings in 2011, has remained open. The hotel was purchased in September 2011 for $14 million by Walton Way Limited Partnership, according to the Augusta Chronicle.
Partridge Inn General Manager David McCartney says LNR Partners LLC of Miami was retained to improve operations at the 177-year-old building to prepare the property for the real estate market. Events booked in advance won't be affected by the pending sale, “It's going to be business as usual for the future,” McCartney says. See story in the Augusta Chronicle.
