RAYMOND, WI-Local developer Jon Hendersen plans to begin site work this spring on a new commercial development on the west side of I-94 here.

The project is being built on a 37-acre parcel that formerly housed Raymond Heights Family Golf. Hendersen acquired the land last year and has since torn down the golf course clubhouse and is currently seeking approval to convert the land into the Raymond Business Park. One potential tenant is designing a 30,000-square-foot building at the site, but Hendersen refuses to divulge the identity of the company, according to the Business Journal.

Hendersen has previously developed retail and office along Highway 20 in Mount Pleasant, including the 16,000-square-foot Mattress Firm store and the headquarters of Horizon Retail Construction. See story in The Business Journal.
