NEW YORK CITY-St. John's University has put its building at 101 Murray Street on the market for sale, which could net the Queens-based university between $150 million to $200 million.

The 10-story property located a few blocks from the World Trade Center totals approximately 150,000 square feet and could accommodate more than 300,000 square feet of residential space with development rights. It currently serves as the main Manhattan location for St. John's Peter J. Tobin College of Business. St. John's is searching for a 40,000-square-foot to 60,000-square-foot location in Manhattan for its business school, according to Crain's New York Business.

"Our sense of the real estate market right now is that it's extremely strong and coming back even stronger," said Martha Hirst, St. John's chief operating officer and treasurer. See story in Crain's New York Business.
