ATLANTA—Batson-Cook Company has promoted its president to CEO. R. Randall
Hall is taking the reins from the retiring Raymond L. Moody Jr. Hall has been president since Jan. 2012.

“For the past six years, Randy has been selected and trained in all areas necessary to assume the duties of President and CEO of our company upon my retirement,” says Moody. “I am con?dent that Batson Cook Company is in good hands and will be extremely successful under Randy's leadership.”

Hall previously led the company's Atlanta Division as senior vice president and general manager. In that role, he oversaw projects such as the Duke Energy Center in Charlotte, the Mitsubishi Power Systems Americas Savannah Machinery Works in Savannah, GA, and multiple major expansions at Northside Hospital Forsyth in Cumming, GA.

Moody will continue to serve Batson-Cook as an executive advisor. He started with the ?rm in 1963 as an engineer and worked his way up the ranks. He was elected executive vice president in charge of all construction operations in 1985 and was named president and COO in 1995. In 2010 Moody became president and CEO. As executive advisor, Moody will lend his construction expertise to Batson-Cook's managing of?cers.

“Batson-Cook has been successfully building relationships for nearly 100 years,” says Hall. “My goal is continue that legacy while implementing new, innovative strategies that will position this company for the next 100 years.”

Batson-Cook completed SkyHouse Midtown in December of 2012 and is currently building 100 6th Street in Atlanta, Ga., Piedmont Mountainside in Jasper, Ga. and the Mitsubishi Power Systems Americas Plant in Pooler, Ga. Batson-Cook Company is headquartered in West Point, Ga. Hall will be based out of the Atlanta of?ce and will divide his time between Atlanta and West Point.
