HILLSBOROUGH, NJ-The township of Hillsborough, in an attempt to encourage new development, is holding a business development summit on Wednesday.

The session at the Peter J. Biondi Municipal Building at 379 South Branch Road will include presentations by all areas of the municipal government including a question and answer period and breakout sessions with individual departments, according to the Star Ledger. The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon.

“In our ongoing effort to be a business-friendly community, the purpose of the business summit is to educate those who deal with the regulatory departments as to how the process should be followed to minimize any unnecessary delays in obtaining the required permits and authorizations to proceed with opening or renovating a business here in Hillsborough,” says Hillsborough Mayor Frank DelCore.
