NEW YORK CITY-Live Nation is nearing a deal to sell the Foxwoods Theatre, now home to Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark.”

Talks are in the final stages between Live Nation and two bidders that are currently in the neighborhood of approximately $45 million for the nearly 84,000-square-foot property, according to the New York Post.

Broadway producer Jon B. Platt, whose credits include “Wicked” and “The House of Mormon,” and Jordan Roth, president of Jujamycn Theaters, submitted bids for the 1,932-seat theater on West 42nd St.

The Foxwoods Theatre went on the market for sale back in December. Spider-Man” is expected to run for some time, while the Foxwoods naming rights deal is said to expire on May 31, the newspaper reports. See story in the New York Post.
