MERRIFIELD, VA-First Potomac Realty Trust has retained Transwestern to lease the 325,328-square foot complex here, Prosperity Metro Plaza. The seven-story class A buildings, formerly called MetroPlace III and IV, are located at at 2675 and 2677 Prosperity Ave. – hence the name change. There are currently two floors available to be leased, Transwestern's Matt Bundy tells GlobeSt.com. "Asking rates are $34 per square foot to $36 per square foot, full service."
Other than those two floors the buildings are fully occupied in large part due to their proximity to the Dunn Loring metro. Also, Bundy says, the amenities being offered at a mixed-use development under construction across the street will also be a lure. These include a Harris Teeter and other eateries, he says.
Transwestern's Bundy, Josh Masi and Peter Marcin and Matt Lynch of Government Services Group, will be the leasing agents. One of the buildings is fully occupied by the government.
