MIAMI-Newgard Development Group is looking to build a 36-story, 352-unit condominium high-rise on First Street here.
The plan for the tower at 151 SE First Street by developer Harvey Hernandez includes no parking for residents. The new development is located next to the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts. Hernandez tells the Miami Herald that he has otained city approval not to include parking at the property since it is close to Metromover's Knight Center station.
Hernandez, who already is developing the BrickellHouse at 1300 Brickell Bay Drive, says his newest project will feature “very small units, very cool lofts, with a really nice restaurant on the ground floor.'' See story in the Miami Herald.
