SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ-A survey conducted by the Associated Press has found that most New Jersey boardwalks that suffered the most from Hurricane Sandy will be rebuilt in time for Memorial Day weekend.

Only three communities that took the major hit from the mega-storm will not have construction work completed on their respective boardwalks by Memorial Day—Sea Girt, which expects to have work completed by June 1; Long Branch, which will not have repairs completed on a stretch of its old boardwalk this year, but already has a newer boardwalk that had minimal damage already open; and Seaside Heights, which expects all repairs to be finished by mid June.
