NUTLEY, NJ-Officials with pharmaceutical firm Roche, as well as representatives from Nutley and Clifton have selected master plan architectural firm EE&K to come up with ideas for the redevelopment of the Roche campus.

EE&K, a Perkins Eastman company, bested seven companies that had vied for the assignment. Roche announced last June that that it would close the campus by the end of 2013 and vacate the 127-acre site two years thereafter, according to The Record.

Nutley Mayor Alphonse Petracco says of EE&K's appointment on the Roche project, “The bar is very high for the company and their standards. That jumped off the page first for me. I'm very excited Perkins Eastman has been selected. We're anxious to get the concept of what Perkins feels would be best [for the site]." See story in The Record.
