Marquette Companies Purchases 314-Unit Complex

FORT WORTH, TX—The Marquette Companies, Naperville, IL, have purchased Verandas at Cityview, a 314-unit apartment community located at 7301 Oakmont Blvd. in Fort Worth. The community will also become part of The Marquette Companies management portfolio. The firm will oversee all aspects of leasing, maintenance and resident relations. This is The Marquette Companies' fourth Texas property that it owns and manages, and the second in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Built in 2003, Verandas at Cityview is a gated community that includes 290 traditional apartment and 24 townhome floor plans, ranging from 637 to 1,637 square feet with one to three bedrooms and one to 2½ baths. On-site amenities include an outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi, fitness center, business center and TV lounge. Residents also have access to Marquette's W.E. C.A.T.E.R. concierge program.

Rents range from $705 to $1,671 per month.

The Marquette Companies plans a number of improvements to Verandas at Cityview, including adding a dog park and grilling area; updating the building's main entry; purchasing all new equipment for the fitness center, business center and coffee bar; and renovating the office and clubhouse. Upgrades are planned for the units as well, including new appliances, plank wood flooring, lighting fixtures, and window blinds.
