ENGLEWOOD, CO—The Opus Group has completed construction on a new 168,000-square-foot build-to-suit worldwide headquarters forTriZetto Corp., in Englewood.
Located in the Meridian International Business Center in Douglas County, the Class A, five-story office building was designed to foster employee collaboration and creativity and includes an executive briefing center, conference center, implementation center and upgrade center.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held this week with Gov. John Hickenlooper and Trace Devanny, chairman and CEO of TriZetto Corporation, present to commemorate the event.
“It was a pleasure collaborating with TriZetto Corporation to make their vision for a new worldwide headquarters a reality,” said Marshall Burton. “We worked closely with TriZetto to ensure that employee input was translated into the final project design and our integrated model allowed us to deliver the project on time in just 12 months.”
The project incorporated sustainable practices and was designed and built to achieve a LEED CI rating for the interior tenant finish. Low-flow bathroom facilities and energy-saving lighting were incorporated throughout the building and the heating and air conditioning systems save more energy than required by codes.
Construction began in April 2012 and was completed in March of this year. Lexington Realty Trust owns and manages the building with TriZetto as its only tenant.
