MIAMI—Mas Group of Companies and TAZ Partners have tapped Blanca Commercial Real Estate as the exclusive leasing agent for The Building on Ponce Circle. The Building on Ponce Circle is a 58,000-square-foot, class A office building at in Miami's Coral Gables business district.

Blanca president and CEO Tere Blanca and EVP Alison Pages will lead the marketing and leasing for the property. The building was developed in 2012 by South Florida-based development firm AJP Ventures on behalf of a joint venture between venture capital fund Mas Group and TAZ, a real estate investment fund created by the Zubizarreta family.

“The Building on Ponce Circle boasts a premium location and high visibility along Ponce de Leon Boulevard, one of Miami's most prestigious business addresses,” says Blanca. “Minutes away from many of Miami's top residential neighborhoods, countless shops, restaurants and hotels, the property is an ideal location for companies seeking a uniquely collaborative and creative environment in Class A office space in Miami.”

Currently, The Building on Ponce Circle is 62% occupied. The anchor tenant is Zubi Advertising. Other tenants include Mas Group, FirstBank Florida, and LBI Media, the largest privately held, Spanish-language broadcaster in the United States.

Blanca points to several factors driving tenant activity, including the building's easily-accessible location on Ponce de Leon Boulevard at Ponce Circle and Catalonia Avenue away from the traffic congestion along Miracle Mile. The office building features a state-of-the-art impact glass curtain wall system with floor-to-ceiling windows; an on-site bank and drive-thru teller; ample covered parking; and a rooftop terrace with spectacular panoramic views

The Building on Ponce Circle was recently named 2012 Project of the Year by the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) South Florida Chapter. The building was awarded the “City Beautiful Award” by the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce in recognition of its commitment to aesthetic beauty and architectural achievements. It was designed and built to achieve LEED certification awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council.
