NEW YORK CITY-The Moinian Group filed plans with the New York City Department of Buildings earlier this week for his Atelier II project, a 61-story rental tower with more than 1,100 apartment units.
The filing shows that developer Joseph Moinian wants to build a total of 1,669 units at the development site, which includes the 478-unit Atelier at 635 West 42nd St., according to the Real Deal.
Moinian paid Verizon $120 million for the building in 2005 and began construction, however the financial crisis led to a halt of construction after the foundation of the building was more than half completed. See story in the Real Deal.
