NASHVILLE-A partnership of Lincoln Property Co. of Dallas and New York City-based insurer MetLife has paid $2.7 million for property across the street fro the Nashville Farmer's Market where it intends to build rental apartments.
The partnership plans to build a five-story building with 232 rental apartment units and a six-level parking garage, according to the Tennessean. A groundbreaking for the project could take place by the end of this summer.
Don Meeks, a Houston-based architectural design, sold the 2.3-acre parcel off Rosa L. Parks Blvd. to the Lincoln-Met Life partnership called Marketplace Residences LLC. The new project is to be called Market Centre Apartments. See story in the Tennessean.
