RALEIGH, NC—Studley is celebrating the grand opening of its new commercial real estate office this week. On April 18, the firm is opening officially opening its 24th U.S. office in Raleigh, N.C.

The new Studley office is located at PNC Plaza, 301 Fayetteville Street in Downtown Raleigh. It is the firm's second office in the state of North Carolina.

“From information and bio-technologies, renewable energy, and bell-weather, global corporations to arts and academia, Raleigh is one of the fastest growing markets in the country today,” says Studley's Raleigh branch manager, Tim Capps. “With the diversity and strength of the intellectual and creative capital here, we are committed to expanding our footprint in this dynamic and ever-growing region.”

Capps is a former vice president with Durham-based full-service commercial real estate firm Tri Properties. A recognized expert in global tenant representation services, Capps provides oversight of Raleigh office's day-to-day operations while spearheading an ambitious recruiting effort that hopes to attract several real estate professionals in 2013. Capps will also oversee Studley's expansion in the Carolinas.

Capps is joined by corporate managing director Tucker Shade and associate director Greg Capps. Both are tenant advisory specialists and former colleagues at Tri Properties.
