MILWAUKEE-An engine and transmission repair business has plans to acquire a former Walmart building here and relocate its corporate headquarters and assembly operations to the property.
Engine and Transmission Exchange Remanufactured, or ETE Reman, is looking to buy the vacant 133,000-square-foot building at 8700 Servite Drive, which is near the former Northridge Mall, according to the Milwaukee Business Journal. The firm, which has 300 employees, has filed plans with the Milwaukee Board of Zoning Appeals, which has scheduled a public hearing on the proposal for April 25.
