Related, Sbe Team on Brickell Mixed-Use

MIAMI—The Related Group and sbe, a hospitality, lifestyle and real estate company, just unveiled SLS Brickell. The first SLS Hotel & Residences will debut in Miami's international business district in 2015.

Scheduled to break ground in mid-2013, SLS Brickell will offer 133 hotel rooms and suites, 450 condo residences, and a collection of sbe's retail, spa and food and beverage concepts. Related and sbe created the concept to advance Brickell's urban cultural and commerce scene.

The joint venture will own and operate the hotel and restaurants, and is expected to bring a Lincoln Road high-street retail scene to the area. The upcoming Brickell CitiCentre, Perez Art Museum Miami, and Frost Museum of Science are located blocks from the site.

SLS Brickell will showcase the design style of Philippe Starck. Much like his approach to SLS properties in Beverly Hills, South Beach, Las Vegas, and New York, Starck will develop a signature aesthetic for SLS Brickell hotel and restaurants embracing city-scape living and playing.

As a sister property to the nearby SLS Hotel South Beach, SLS Brickell will feature over 15,000 square feet of meeting space, a full-service spa, as well as two pools reserved for both hotel guests and residence owners. Benefits offered to SLS residents include 24-hour concierge services, valet parking, private beach access, and optional services like housekeeping, personal training, catered meeting space and events, transportation, laundry, dry cleaning, and personal shopping.
