NEWPORT BEACH, CA—Newman Garrison + Partners (NG+P), an architectural firm with 25 years of experience based in Newport Beach, has hired Tom Greer as director of architecture.

Greer has over 30 years of creative design experience in all phases of architecture, master and specific planning, 3D visualization, graphic design and marketing. Throughout his career, he has been a strong client liaison and project team leader. He has extensive experience working on complex projects and coordinating with governmental agencies.

“With his combined design and architectural expertise, project management and leadership skills, Tom is highly attuned to the client's needs as he captures their vision,” said Kevin Newman, CEO of NG+P. “Tom will work closely with our team to continue to create projects that exceed client expectations.”  

Prior to joining NG+P, Greer was the director of architecture with Graham Downes Architecture, a multi-disciplinary design firm in San Diego, where he worked with mixed-use, hospitality and restaurant clients to provide multi-dimensional solutions to a wide variety of renovation and ground-up projects.

Greer has also worked as the partner/project director for LJG Partners, a leading digital creative agency specializing in design, 3D animation and interactive projects, and was the co-founder of an architectural firm specializing in the design and land planning of master-planned communities and merchant-built housing across California and Nevada.

Greer's firm also donated professional services to low-income redevelopment projects in blighted areas of Los Angeles including Willowbrook and Compton.
