MEMPHIS, TN-South Junction Partners has proposed building a new 197-unit apartment development on nearly six vacant acres at Carolina Avenue and Florida Street here.
The developer, a partnership of Henry Turley and Billy Orgel, could begin construction on the project that would feature nearly 179,000 square feet of rentable space and 264 parking spaces by mid-July, according to the Memphis Business Journal.
South Junction Partners is currently gauging construction costs, has secured term sheets from prospective lenders and is seeking tax abatements through the Memphis Center City Revenue Finance Corp. See story in the Memphis Business Journal.
