NEW YORK CITY-Social media website BuzzFeed has inked a two-year sublease from Tiffany & Co. for the entire eighth floor totaling nearly 58,000 square feet at 200 Fifth Ave.
The 57,691-square-foot sublease means BuzzFeed will relocate from approximately 24,000 square feet it occupies at 54 West 21st St., according to the New York Post.
BuzzFeed was represented by Steve Marvin of Olmstead. Greg Taubin of Studley represented Tiffany in the transaction.
“It's an active submarket with a limited supply available,” Taubin says. “We leased the 8th floor —the last available floor in 200 Fifth —knowing that we would immediately sublease it for two years and use it for future growth.” See story in the New York Post.
