MIAMI—KBS Realty Advisors has tapped Jones Lang LaSalle as the exclusive leasing agent for CityPlace Tower. CityPlace is a class A, 295,933-square-foot office tower at 525 Okeechobee Blvd in Downtown West Palm Beach.

JLL vice president Kevin McCarthy will lead the leasing efforts. The firm has handled its property management since 2011 and also handles KBS's Emerald View property.

"We look at this as a true partnership based on all the success we've had with the JLL team over the past couple of years,” says Allen Aldridge, KBS senior vice president and asset manager. “We chose JLL's brokerage team to represent CityPlace Tower because of the professionalism and dedication they've shown at Emerald View.”

For its part, CityPlace Tower is 90% leased with a tenant roster including INTECH, Carlton Fields, Shutts & Bowen and Cleveland Clinic. Kevin Probel, a vice president at JLL, says the tower is performing well, in part, due to “ownership's willingness to go above and beyond to meet tenants' needs."

The location is also strategic. CityPlace Tower is less than 10 minutes from Palm Beach International Airport, a quarter of a mile from Interstate 95, and directly across the street from the Palm Beach County Convention Center. CityPlace Tower is located on the northwest corner of Okeechobee and South Quadrille boulevards and anchors the south entrance to the county's leading visitor destination: CityPlace.
