LANGHORNE, PA-St. Mary's Medical Center, in partnership with Centerre Healthcare Corp. of Nashville, plan to build a more than $20-million acute rehabilitation hospital on land formerly occupied by the Neshaminy Middle School near its main campus here.
“We are always looking at community needs and what services we'll need to be providing in the future,” says Greg Wozniak, president and CEO at St. Mary's. “We saw the demand for rehab care was going to be a growing.”
He adds that the new rehab hospital will complement the St. Mary's expanded programs in cardiology, neurosciences and orthopedics, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.
St. Mary's and Centerre Healthcare will share the construction cost for the rehab hospital. See story in the Philadelphia Business Journal.
