Whether you use social media or not, chances are Internet technology impacts your job in one way or another. And it's certainly making its mark on the commercial real estate industry. From more companies hopping on Twitter, to greener initiatives, to using video as a means to market and promote, and even planning new communities, people are embracing social media and technology in their everyday business practices. In that vein, we figured that setting up a blog to address new technology and social media initiatives would be a great way to keep readers informed and interested in new developments. Plus, posts on this blog will help out when people start talking about “tweeting from a conference” or “pinning new images.” The aim is to also make sense of that stuff.
So, we're going to try to cover the intersection of technology and commercial real estate and show, that just like NYC zoning laws, it's possible that anything can change.
And speaking of change, the topics covered, writers and even the industry itself will change over time. Expect to see the new, the creative and the intriguing here, and we'd love your feedback.
