MEMPHIS-The redevelopment of the former Chisca Hotel here has a new main partner—locally based Carlisle Corp.
Main Street Apartment Partners LLC announced on Friday that Carlisle had joined the project as the main partner. Carlisle founder Gene Carlisle was on hand for the formal opening of construction on the $24-million project on Friday at the project site, according to the Memphis Daily News.
Gary Prosterman of Main Street Apartment Partners says the redeveloped eight-story Chisca on South Main Street will have 165 apartments. Renovations are expected to take about 14 months to complete. See story in the Memphis Daily News.
