TENAFLY, NJ-The borough of Tenafly is looking to make it easier for businesses to grow or set up operations here by changing or reforming its approval process and other regulations.
The Tenafly Planning Board is studying how to streamline the business application process, altering zoning regulations and eliminating parking restrictions in the business district, according to The Record.
Borough officials are looking to duplicate the zoning in the Cresskill business district, which has been more successful in generating business development, says Planning Board member Jeff Toonkel. “We want to include the Northern corridor of town, along Piermont Road, in the business district to make it easier for future applicants to establish businesses there,” he adds.
