Allen Gump Elected as 2014 SIOR National Vice President

DALLAS—Allen Gump, with Colliers International North Texas was elected to the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors' (SIOR) Executive Committee during the recent SIOR Spring World Conference that took place in Palm Springs, CA.

In this national leadership capacity, Gump will serve a four-year term, which will include VP in 2014, president-elect of SIOR in 2015, president in 2016 and Immediate past president in 2017.

“The SIOR Executive Committee and I look forward to working with Allen as he assumes his new responsibilities as national vice president,” said Richard Hollander, EVP with SIOR. “His strong leadership experience with SIOR—including past service as a member of the board of directors and the executive committee, Speaker of the council of chapter presidents and 2011 President of the SIOR Foundation—places Allen in good stead to take the helm as president of SIOR in 2016.”

“I am thrilled to join the SIOR national board of directors as vice president,” said Gump. “It is a huge honor to be a part of SIOR leadership, following in the footsteps of so many great people who are responsible for SIOR becoming the preeminent broker organization.”

The last time a national officer for SIOR came from the North Texas area, it was Peter Baldwin, in 1994. He was the founder of The Baldwin Company which later became Colliers International.
