ST. LOUIS—Reinsurance Group of America is planning a Monday groundbreaking on its new $150-million headquarters complex in the city's western suburb of Chesterfield.
The expanded RGA headquarters will have two, five-story buildings totaling more than 400,000 square feet. The complex on Singley Ridge Road sits on a 17-acre site that is about two miles west of its current headquarters housed in leased space at 1370 Timberlake Manor Parkway. The project is expected to be finished in 2014.
The company says it will eventually add more than 300 new jobs in the St. Louis area, according to the St. Louis Post Dispatch. RGA currently employs 730 people housed in buildings in Chesterfield and St. Charles. See story in the St. Louis Post Dispatch.
