MIAMI—Airport Financial Center, a 10-story, 105,041-square-foot office building just north of Miami International Airport, just inked seven leases totaling 21,800 square feet. The leases include two new users and four existing tenants.
The largest transaction was a 10,500 square foot lease renewal with The Miami Association of Realtors (RAMB). Cikel America, the Bolivian Consulate, along with the law firm of Charles M. Jones, PA, and the Eastern Airlines Retirees Association have all renewed their leases.
The building's newest tenants include AFSCME, the nation's largest and fastest-growing public services employees union, and Exakt US LLC, a Miami-based general contractor. They will occupy a combined 7,068 square feet of space.
Danet Linares, Juan Ruiz and Andres del Corral of Blanca Commercial Real Estate, exclusive leasing agent for Airport Financial Center, represented landlord AFC Investments, LLC in the transactions. Barbara Liberatore Black of Cresa South Florida represented RAMB. The other leases did not involve co-brokers.
“Airport Financial Center remains a preferred option for tenants in the market for direct access to Miami International Airport and South Florida's major expressways,” says Linares, executive vice president of Blanca. “With new development taking shape in and around the airport and Miami gaining ground as an international business hub, we expect Airport Financial Center to continue attracting strong tenant interest.”
Located at 700 South Royal Poinciana Boulevard in central Miami-Dade County, adjacent to Miami International Airport and the Miami Intermodal Center, the building's tenant roster also includes Space Coast Credit Union, Subway International's Latin America headquarters, and K to B, LLC. Airport Financial Center offers access to Miami's major thoroughfares, including the Dolphin Expressway (SR 836), the Palmetto Expressway (SR 826), and Interstate 95.
“Aside from being the closest high-rise office building to Miami International Airport, tenants of Airport Financial Center are now just minutes away from Airport Link, which connects the Airport submarket directly to Miami's urban core,” says Juan Ruiz, executive vice president of Blanca. “This is a welcomed amenity for businesses whose employees and visitors are coming from downtown and points east.”
