NEW YORK CITY-A five-story walkup and an adjacent luxury rental in the city's Hell's Kitchen district have sold for a combined price of $25.5 million.

The sale of the two properties at 643-645 Ninth Avenue and 947 Ninth Avenue came in at more than $880 a square foot, according to The Real Deal, which is one of the highest prices paid for a property in the Hell's Kitchen area, according to sources cited by the newspaper.

The 643-645 building has 19 residential units and the restaurant Southern Hospitality on the ground floor. The 947 Ninth Ave. building features four apartments and has the restaurant Ember Room on the ground floor. The properties were sold by a group headed by New York real estate investor Francesco Manica to an anonymous buyer. See story in The Real Deal.
