TUSTIN, CA-Trico Realty Inc. has leased 33,000 square feet of industrial space at 14811 Myford Rd. here to All Counties Courier. The lease is valued at approximately $1.58 million.

ACC will occupy the freestanding building as a corporate headquarters. The company has signed a five-year lease and will move to the premises in October.

ACC president Pat Cochran explained in a prepared statement that the building and location were ideal for the firm's rapidly expanding medical-logistics division. ACC also operates facilities in Los Angeles, San Bernardino and San Diego.

According to Jeff Mitchell, SVP in Voit Real Estate Services' Irvine office, who represented ACC in the transaction, “The quality of the building, ideal location and on-site and area amenities are conducive to creating the corporate culture desired by All Counties Courier. We evaluated numerous space options in the area and determined that 14811 Myford Rd. in Tustin provided the best occupancy solution to accommodate the needs of this growing company.”

As GlobeSt.com reported last month, industrial vacancies continue to tighten in Orange County, with the potential to dip below the lows of 3.8% reached in the late 1990s and early 2000, and growth in the high-tech manufacturing sector could bring this number even lower, Jeff Ingham, senior managing director for Jones Lang LaSalle, told us. As we reported earlier last month, the firm's research shows that after more than a decade of steadily declining numbers, the high-tech manufacturing sector nationwide is beginning to add jobs again.
