ATLANTA-The 212,565-square-foot 1000 Parkwood office building here has been purchased by rapidly expanding Atlanta Property Group.
Commercial real estate executives familiar with the transaction tell the Atlanta Business Chronicle the 10-story property in Cobb County sold for $28 million.
The building is 87% leased. Chemical company Kemira leases approximately 50,000 square feet at the building. Jay O'Meara, Justin Parsonnet and Will Yowell of CBRE represented the seller, Parmenter Realty Partners, in the transaction.
The acquisition is Atlanta Property Group's eighth office building purchase since 2010 totaling 1.6 million square feet of space. See story in the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
