RESEARCH TRINANGLE PARK, NC-Those interested in bidding on the 70-acre Park Center office campus here, former home to IBM, now have until June 27 to make an offer.
Representatives for CBRE Auction Services report that the original deadline of June 6 has now been extended three weeks. The Park Center property has nine office buildings and four outparcel buildings with a total 722,556 square feet of office space, according to the Triangle Business Journal.
The campus, which is a hair under 11% occupied, was constructed for IBM in the 1970s and 1980s, but has been predominantly vacant since 2011. See story in the Triangle Business Journal.
