MOUNTAIN VIEW-Broadreach Capital Partners, Palo Alto, has purchased a parcel of open land in the midst of several Google sites North Bay District.
The 5-plus acre piece, 1615 and 1625 Plymouth St., was acquired last week from Alexandria Real Estate Equities, says the Silicon Valley Business Journal.
The website reports that no price was disclosed, but that the asking price published in literature from Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank was $15 million.
Alexandria had plans to develop the property, but those plans never came to fruition.
In 2011, Google reportedly paid more than $100 million for the 18-acre Landmark at Shoreline, complex that Broadreach bought in 2007.
