CHICAGO-A local joint venture of Waterton Associates LLC and RSL Building Corp. is seeking investors for a planned $60-million extended stay hotel at 403 N. Wabash.
The hotel, to be built near the Trump International Hotel and Tower, would be downtown Chicago's first Hyatt House, according to Crain's Chicago Business.
Sources told the newspaper that the Waterton–RSL partnership plans to build the hotel in River North on top of an existing 424-car parking garage that serves the adjoining River Plaza condominium building.
Waterton, a hotel and apartment owner, has among its holdings the Presidential Tower in the West Loop. See story in Crain's Chicago Business.
