HOUSTON-Henry S. Miller Brokerage recently represented Steeplechase, in the lease of a new 22,000 square foot Goodwill Select donation store in Houston.
Miller's Steeplechase Shopping Center Leasing Team, Shawn Ackerman, EVP, and Jason Du, assistant VP of the Greater Houston Retail Division, handled the transaction, representing the landlord, Jones 1960 Crossroads, LLC.
Goodwill will relocate within Steeplechase to the vacant, former Palais Royal, which itself recently relocated to a smaller suite in the same center. Located at the intersection of FM 1960 and Jones Road, Goodwill will continue to be surrounded by other well-known discount stores, including 99 Cent Only, Fallas Discount Stores, Dollar Tree, Palais Royal and Citi-Trends.
Goodwill Select, who was represented by Barley Wedemeyer of Wedemeyer Reality, has begun construction at the new location.
The leasing team is actively marketing the center for lease. Steeplechase maintains occupancy of more than 90% and is an ideal location for retailers offering a quality service or product at a discounted rate.
