WEISENBEG, PA-National Freight Industries, a transportation logistics company based in Cherry Hill, NJ, is expanding its operations to the Lehigh Valley.
The firm will be a tenant in a new $60-million, 980,000-square-foot warehouse distribution building being constructed here. The facility will be used to service a bottling distributing facility being built for Ocean Spray Cranberries Inc. in Upper Macungie, PA, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Texas-based Hillwood Properties will construct the new warehouse, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year, in the West Hills Business Center.
The company plans to create 126 jobs in connection with the project. The company, in a prepared statement termed eastern Pennsylvania as “a critical growth market for the warehousing, transportation, and distribution industries.” See story in the Philadelphia Business Journal.
