WASHINGTON, DC-Representatives from the three teams competing to be the master developer for the Walter Reed Medical Center redevelopment project here made brief presentations on their respective plans on Thursday night.

The standing-room only session was held in the basement of Tifereth Israel. Officials with Forest City Washington, Hines/Urban Atlantic, and Roadside Development provided the public and district officials a glimpse of their development proposals for the nearly 66-acre parcel at the former Walter Reed Medical Center during their respective 15-minute presentations, according to the Washington Business Journal.

"What we envision here is not skyscrapers, and it won't be a downtown office campus," said Alex Nyhan, Forest City Washington's SVP of development, during his presentation. For more details on the three proposals, see story in the Washington Business Journal.
