LORTON, VA-MetLife has acquired Broadstone Laurel Highlands, a 300-unit, class-A multifamily complex located at 8141 McCauley Way. The seller is the Alliance Residential Fund I. Steve Taylor and Terence O'Connell of MetLife's Washington, DC office led the acquisition effort; HFF represented the seller.

"Broadstone Laurel Highlands is an outstanding asset and fits well into our strategy of expanding our portfolio in high growth metro areas such as Washington, DC," Taylor, regional director for MetLife, says in a prepared statement. "Alliance built a great product and we're pleased to add this property to our portfolio."

The property is located near Interstate-95. It was built in 2011 and consists of 289 multifamily units and 11 townhomes. Kettler Management, Inc. of McLean, Virginia will oversee management of the property.
