LIVINGSTON, NJ-A 43,100-square-foot flex building at 8-10 MicroLab Road has been sold to LifeTown Inc., which plans to build a $13-million community center “village” at the site.

The sale of the property was announced by Weichert Commercial Brokerage, Inc. Weichert's David Fisher represented the seller of the property-JKR Livingston, LLC. Susanne Newmark of Newmark Associates handled negotiations for LifeTown Inc.

The new community center will be designed to provide assistance to young adults with special needs.

The property was a former corporate headquarters facility that sits on more than four acres and features 26,500 square feet of office space and 16,600 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space.
