LOS ANGELES-Cushman & Wakefield, the world's largest privately-held commercial real estate services firm, says that Matthew Fainchtein and Carter Magnin have joined the company's Retail Services group.
Based in the firm's Los Angeles West office, the team will specialize in representing landlords and tenants in Beverly Hills and the greater Los Angeles area adding further momentum to the firm's strategic growth across market sectors.

Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, Fainchtein and Magnin were brokerage professionals with RKF in Los Angeles.
In recent years, Fainchtein has been involved in some of the area's most notable restaurant and retail transactions. He most recently represented Theory and Helmut Lang, two notable brands from Japan-based retailer Fast Retailing Co., in their newest flagship store to be opened in the affluent Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles. Other notable transactions include the new flagship store for Apple on the Third Street Promenade; the flagship store for Tumi on Rodeo Drive; the West Coast flagship for Charlotte Olympia on Rodeo Drive; Restoration Hardware on Beverly Boulevard Soul Cycle and Equinox in West Hollywood.
A former vice president of development with Whishire Ventures, Fainchstein holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bucknell University and The London School of Economics.
Magnin worked with national and global retailers in his previous role with RKF including: Ralph Lauren, MAC Cosmetics, Michael Stars, and Warby Parker and was involved in the regional expansion of Kate Spade. In addition, he represented Simms Development and B&A Management on the landlord side.
Magnin earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Southern California.
